Friends with benefits NEVER work out!!! Okay, let me lay down my opinions and life mistakes about friends with benefits. So I met this guy while going to school, let's call him Joe. Joe was fine as fuck with an accent and he was athletic which was a 10/10 in my eyes. Long story short Joe and I started messing around and I was thinking OMG this guy likes me so much, he puts up with me being weird, we have a cool vibe together, this will totally work out fine....well it didn't work out fine. Ya girl caught feelings for Joe and sure Joe was feeling me but Joe was never willing to commit to being in an official relationship. Let me just add in I wasn't looking to marry him I just was looking for something more serious. Our "relationship" was getting worse but I was willing to make it work because he had me in deep. I lost myself waiting for someone who wasn't ready for me, even when he kept telling me that we would eventually be in a relationship. It took me a while to get it through my head that Joe was wasting my time with empty promises and sure I relapsed a couple of times because I was dickmitized, but that part isn't important, what's important is that I finally pulled myself together and left out of the situation. I've had a lot of these situations happen except they were the complete opposite. Girls definitely aren't the only ones that can get attached in friends with benefits relationship, I've had some very crazy encounters with guys being attached and me not reciprocating the feelings. They might not come right out and say that they want a relationship but they become possessive and start acting like you guys are already in a relationship. Even when you don't enter into a situationship with feelings, they develop over time and someone gets attached. I have never seen a friend with benefits relationship work out for the best and if it has that means that they weren't really friends to begin with. This is just my opinion though, maybe it works out for someone else, if it works or worked for you I would love to know.
